The Lilee Systems TransAir suite of products deliver an end-to-end Positive Train Control (PTC) communication system designed to capture interoperability requirements. Lilee Systems’ TransAir PTC communications system features an integrated command, control, communications and information network for controlling train movements with reliability, precision and efficiency.
The entire family of Lilee Systems PTC radio products are available in multiple model SKU’s allowing our customers to select from a variety of PTC system design, deployment and operational needs.
Lilee System Components
- The TransAir PTC communications system from Lilee Systems consists of a foundation of five hardware components. These components are:
- TransAir-LMC Series Mobility Controller
- TransAir-PTC Series 220 MHZ PTC Base Station Radio
- TransAir-PTC Series 220 MHZ PTC Locomotive Radio
- TransAir-PTC Series 220 MHZ PTC Wayside Radio
- TransAir-LWO Series Yard Radio
Lilee Mobility Controller (LMC)
Provides radio device management with roaming control enabling a robust communications conduit between the trackside network and the Back Office Servers. The Mobility Controller also provides a comprehensive web based management interface to allow all radio devices to be managed centrally from this graphical console.
Base Station Radio
PTC-220Mhz radio allows communication with the Mobility Controller and the locomotive and wayside radios. Typically located approximately every 20 miles along the track alignment.
Locomotive Radio
Provides communication between the onboard computer, wayside locations, and the Back Office Servers. It contains a WiFi interface, 220MHz PTC radio, and a 3G connection for backup connections.
Wayside Radio
Provides communication between the dark territory, intermediate, and control point locations and base stations and locomotives.
