Overview
TransAir-PTC Series Base Station Radio
The PTC Series provides track-side network connectivity by providing full radio coverage of the areas along the track. There can be multiple track side networks interconnected via the IP core network. Each of the track side networks covers a sub-section of the rail signaling network.
The PTC series provides PTC-220 connectivity to the wayside and locomotive radios. The PTC series creates a secure tunnel between the track side network and the mobility controller to hide the underlying topology from the wayside/locomotive network.
