Jia-Ru Li, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Li has more than 20 years of experience in wireless technologies. He was the software architect, project lead, and software engineer at Extreme Networks and Cisco Systems. Dr. Li has been a voting member of both 802.11 WLAN and 802.16 Wimax for several years, and actively participates in the standards body defining next generation wireless architecture. He is on the program committee and a reviewer of premier networking conferences such as TMC’06, ICC’03, MobiCom’02, JNSM’01, TON’00, INFOCOMM’99, and SIGCOMM’98. Prior to founding Lilee he was the Vice President of Technology of Sigma Resources and Technologies.

Dr. Li received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He has published more than 20 technical papers for conferences and journals and has authored more than six patents. He received the Van Valkenburg Research Award for demonstrated excellence in research in 2000, the CIC Award for Excellent Chip Design from the National Chip Implementation Center in Taiwan in 1994, and the Research Creativity Award for Outstanding Thesis from the National Science Council in Taiwan in 1993.

Yale Lee, Vice President of Technology
Yale Lee has over 15 years of engineering and project management experience in the networking industry. Prior to joining Lilee Systems, he was an architect and project lead at Cisco Systems where he designed and developed the virtualization platform for the next generation ISR routers. While at Cisco, Yale led teams that delivered Telco Class 5 Soft Switch product and the SIP based Fixed-Mobile Convergence Server (WiFi-Cellular handoff server) products. Prior to Cisco, Yale held various Windows application development positions.

Yale has authored three patents and is a member of the JCP JSR-289 committee. He received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering and MS degree in Computer Engineering both from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

Kevin Nichter, Director, Product Line Management
Kevin Nichter has over 10 years of experience in marketing and engineering in the rail and transit industries. Prior to joining Lilee Systems, he held roles at Safetran Systems (now Invensys Rail North America) as Product Line Manager for Communications and Principal Engineer for PTC projects. Kevin also has experience in Communications-Based Train Control and served as Product Line Manager for the radio subsystem for projects in Singapore, Taiwan, Brazil, and Spain. Kevin has experience in ATCS and other legacy code systems as well as IP and messaging system convergence for train control systems.

Kevin is active in the field of seamless connectivity for CBTC applications and communications-based wayside activation. He received his MBA from Indiana University Southeast and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Western Kentucky University.

Louis P. Silady, PMP, Director, Business Development
Louis Silady has over twenty-five years of experience in the rail transit, design/build, and construction management industries. Prior to joining Lilee Systems, he held leadership roles with Siemens Transportation Systems, and Alstom Transportation, and was a rail transit industry consultant. Mr. Silady has broad and diversified background in business development, business unit management, project management oversight, and finance applied to a variety of complex rail transit business development and project initiatives, some exceeding $ 5 BIL.

He received a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Kansas State University, a Diploma in Real Estate / Finance from New York University School of Continuing Education, and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute. He was a contributing author for the book “Design / Build Marketing & Business Development.”
